Marella Cruises launches gastropub restaurant, Piccadilly’s, providing British classics with a twist within its all inclusive offering.
Marella Cruises has launched its newest gastropub concept restaurant, Piccadilly’s, across the entire fleet of ships, which will be available within the all-inclusive offering from June 2025.
Piccadilly’s, the third new restaurant to launch in the main dining areas across all ships, brings guests a relaxed British dining experience with more choice and variety than ever before.
Pub favourites for mains include ‘Angus Beef and Yorkshire Pudding’ roast dinner, ‘Steak and Ale Pie’, ‘Roast Chicken Dinner’, ‘Sole Kyiv’, ‘Vegan Steak and Chips’, ‘Curry Mile’ a tikka vegetable short crust pie with dal makhani, ‘The Chippy’ a beer battered whiting, steak cut chips, pea fritter and pickled wally.

Previous UK Cruises – Marella will not be sailing from the UK this year:
Marella Explorer set sail from Southampton on UK itineraries, to new ports of call including, Belfast, Dublin and Liverpool. Marella Explorer 2, the cruise lines adult only ship, also offered were UK sailings from Newcastle, with even more UK ports of call. Southampton sailings and Newcastle sailings.
Marella advise: “Anyone aged 18-years and older will be required to have had both COVID-19 jabs at least seven days before traveling. All under 18-year-olds, excluding infants under the age of two who will not be able to sail as they are exempt from testing, will be asked to have a lateral flow test. All guests must also provide proof of a negative lateral flow test before boarding the ships at the start of the cruise. “

Summary of Marella UK Itineraries from Southampton in Summer 2021:
Sail the South Coast itinerary was a three-night itinerary from Southampton, visited Dover for Canterbury Cathedral and Portland for the beautiful Abbotsbury Swannery & Gardens. Those looking for a longer break can experience the new Sail the Irish Sea. Departed in August from Southampton, it will visit popular cities including Liverpool, Dublin and Cobh in the Republic of Ireland.
There were also a number of Scottish itineraries, including British Sights and Seas which will visit five Scottish hotspots. The history rich itinerary has a day at sea before visiting the stunning views of Invergordon, the old historic town of Kirkwall and the rich culture of Leith and a visit to Edinburgh Castle before heading to Newcastle and then back down to Southampton. A Taste of the West Coast will also see Marella Explorer sail to Greenock, the capital of Northern Ireland – Belfast and Holyhead before finishing the itinerary in Portland.
